Colby's first visit to the dentist

Colby saw his pediatric dentist, Dr. Saladin, for the very first time today. We'd been talking to him about the visit for a couple weeks, so he would know what to expect. I could tell he was a little nervous before we left, but once he walked in & saw the play area, he got excited. Then he saw the fish tank & got even more excited! He let the hygienist x-ray his teeth (he sat under the "heavy blankie"), clean his teeth (the saliva sucker was loud & a little scary) & then Dr. Saladin took a look (Colby opened up super-wide). The dentist said Colby's teeth & gums are very healthy. Woo hoo! Colby got a sugar-free lollipop, a balloon & a bouncy ball from the hygienist for being such a brave boy! I could tell she got a kick out of all of his comments while we were there. We'll definitely be back in 6 months!
