My thoughts

Just some of my thoughts on this cloudy Wednesday afternoon. I actually have time to think because both of my children are asleep at the same time. So, first of all, even though I voted for McCain, I am still excited about Obama's win. Our first black president ever! I am also really excited that Heather found out today that she is having a girl! I am sad because October is over, Halloween is over & the time changed. But I am looking forward to Thanksgiving & Christmas which are right around the corner. And for some reason, I actually feel well rested even though my kids have woken up before 5am every day this week. I think its because of the restful weekend I had at the women's retreat. I had such a wonderful time rooming with my dear friends, Heather & Maria. And Greg did a phenomenal job with the kids when I was gone. Lastly, I am thankful the Lord has given me some peace & quiet right now which will allow me to be a better wife & mother this evening. I am blessed.
