Gold Medal Awards

Colby received a gold medal this week at Tricks Gymnastics along with his other classmates. This was the culmination of their Summer Games program that they do once every 4 years. Colby's teacher interviewed each of them during class so that she could share something unique about each child during the ceremony. It went something like this, "This is Colby. When Colby grows up, he wants to be a fireman or a motorcycle guy. Colby likes jumping on the trampoline the best. Colby likes to play at the park & go on water slides". It was really cute. He was so proud of himself when all the parents clapped. We told him he received his gold medal for doing so well at gymnastics the last 3 years. He even slept with his medal around his neck last night. Next Tuesday is his last day at gymnastics & then he graduates to preschool.
