Colby started preschool today. Here is a picture of him this morning donning his new zebra-striped backpack all ready to go. When we arrived at his school, he jumped right in & began to play with the other kids while we waited for circle time to start. Then I gave him a tight squeeze, kissed his forehead & told him I had to go but that I'd be back to pick him up when class was over. He said in a brave voice, "OK Mommy. You can go now." I could tell that he missed me because when I arrived to pick him up, his face lit up when he saw me & he got excited. He gave Mrs. Brown a big hug goodbye & his first day of preschool was over, just like that. He's been home with me every day for over 3 years now, so this is a whole new world for us. I think its going to be a great year:)

Way to go Colby!- we knew that you would adjust quickly and be so brave. Congratulations Mom... It is a bittersweet moment- I am glad you survived as well. Colby we love the backpack..
