"Big girl"

My baby thinks she is a big girl. The latest scoop on Paige is that she has been rejecting "baby food". Basically, she wants to feed herself, so if it can be cut up into small chunks for her to pick up & put into her mouth on her own, she'll go for it. If not, she'll only take a couple spoonfuls. This makes me sad because their are so many healthy veggies she'll be missing out on now. She also decided that she doesn't want to nurse (except in the middle of the night). So we bought our first can of formula ever since we have been parents. (We used up all the free samples). I have to admit, this bottle thing definitely has its advantages. Colby even had a go at feeding Paige today. Still, I am sad. Its seems like my baby girl wants to be a big girl already and she's not even one yet! I will miss nursing her dearly. Hands down, my most favorite part of my first year with Colby was nursing him to sleep in the rocking chair. I thought I would have a whole year with Paige, too. So here is her "big girl" picture. Colby's hair was not long enough to do this at 9 months, then when it came in, it was too curly to do this. Paige's hair is perfect for this "up do". Oh, last bit of Paige info- she now has 8 teeth. 8 teeth!
